Z is for Zero and/or Zucchini

Zucchini??? Sounds like it should be a vegetable? Sure there's something similar...

Its actually hues of yellow through to green, which meant I had an ink pad exactly for this challenge, I bought it for another colour challenge, can't remember now, but once I got it home I realised it wasn't what I had wanted to use.

Very simple to do, I stamped the ink pad round the sides of the card, used another piece of card cut to size and stamped the Butterfly on it. Waited for the card to dry and then stuck the butterfly down. Finished off by adding the gems and sentiment.

the Butterfly stamp is a prize from a previous Butterfly challenge -  for doing both the letter and the colour.

To fit the challenge I have used the yellow to green stamp pad and the zero is in 2017.

I accidently smudged an edge of the white card as I was putting it on the card, so I softly smudged the rest of the edges to match.

Angels

My first Christmas card make of 2017 done for Merry Monday Christmas Challenge #229.

Actually enjoyed doing it which surprised me as I ended up buying a couple of Christmas cards in the run up to Christmas week as I had lost my 'ho. ho. ho' and didn't finish my list of cards to make.

I used silicone gel to raise the Angel of the card.

Va Va Vroom

I was given quite a lot of Decoupage sheets last year, and this image was one of them, although I only used the base image on this card.

Background card in red to match the car, square of an old map and a blank page from a novel, 3 candi and peel off sentiment used.

Does remind me of Bergerac's car though.

Really need to tidy my 'tags' up... too many to go through when blogging.

purple or purple?

Not very often I dip into my Debbi Moore drawer, but decided too for the monthly swap over at Card Exhange UK on yahoo groups, knowing the recipient liked sewing & reusing things, this made an ideal theme.

All of the bits used came from Shabby Chic compendium.

Well, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and New Year. Ours was lovely if a bit different as dad & step-mum didn't come over for Christmas dinner as usual, due to dad still not being 100%, still waiting for Hospital to find out why he lost 4 pints of blood.... & where from. Just has to be a medical mystery case my dad.
Didn't work over Christmas which was nice for a change.

My last post early in Dec, had me doing reduced hrs and lots of crafting..... which didn't exactly go to plan. I ended up doing more hours again and less crafting, though I managed a few more Christmas cards.

Now I'm on a weeks hols, yes I know I don't want work  *lol*

So back to crafting!!
