O is for One layer/colour ultra pink

Not been around much since my last post, I think the busy Christmas period, and various other happenings as took its toll on me and I've not been very well, I've increased my doseage of meds, so hopefully once they kick in, usually takes a week give or take to get back to what I call 'normal', I should be ok.
Not going to let it get to me, these things happen and I am learning (long curve) to let these things go.

Anyhoo, on the craft!!

The latest Butterfly challenge is O for one layer and/or use the colour Ultra Pink, aha! perfect for a digital project me thinks. Not sure my pink is Ultra but hey ho.

I decided to do a pack of A6 sized notelets.

The design is an embellishment from the digi kit "Artsy Anne" by Rosie H on flickr, I just matched the font colour to the pink. There are four notelets in the pack, I'm thinking £1.50 for the pack - if I don't use them myself!

digital birthday cards

Had a lovely coffee date with some ladies I don't get to see very often, one of which I didn't know was coming and it was her birthday this week, so I thought I'd use this challenge theme and do a 100% digital card and pop it on her facebook.

Now, it not be everyone's cup of tea but she loved it.

I digitally decoupaged the skull and also the rose on the left, adding shadow but its still hard to see as the picture is quite dark
Also matched the backing colour to the darkest one on the image to blend it in more.

seeing stars

I haven't used Craft Artist to (properly) design anything for months, possibly a year. So when I spotted a digital challenge blog, I decided to blow the cobwebs off the old thing.
I designed this to be used as a tag on a birthday card, fairly basic design, but will be embellished when I make the card up.

I found a new author (to me) whilst buying a 2for in Tesco's. Trisha Ashley - Chocolate Shoes and wedding Blues. Couldn't put it down, really enjoyed it, and Trisha has made it into my Book of Books *da-dah*
Anyhoo, included was a lovely recipe for Fat Rascal's, a Yorkshire treat and now that I've made them - very addicitive! what little remainder of my waist I had looks like its on the way out. Must Wii more.

Salvaged two small plastic files from work and have decided to put my favourite recipes in them, laminated pages to keep them clean.
So I've made a start on the collection with the aforementioned Fat Rascals.

A bit of fun today, using a favourite photo of Dad.

Used CAP;  satin and silk digikit by alegra and the jigsaw template by Sara (summersara72)
Have now got it as my computer wall paper.
