I bought this cd years ago and never used it, looked at it then put it away, having been bitten by the vintage bug over the past couple of years - more this year since I found the Gecko Galz, I dusted it off and decided to put the images with the Creata Christmas pack I bought for last year. So my Christmas cards this year are funky vintage. Hope the recipients like them ; )

Peace on Earth

I am in love with this pretty Angel topper, it is part of a decoupage sheet but I split them up. Teemed with the funky backing paper, I think its my favourite Christmas card this year.

poison Ivy

yep, makes you itch in all those hard to reach places, but not this Ivy - she bedazzles you with her flowing hair and pretty dress then reels you in with those ivy tendrils of hers, keeping you close forever.....

Uhm, that sounds scary, what I actually meant to say was she keeps you enraptured with her just like Mother Nature, through out the seasons does.

Phew, got out of that one.......

one thing.....

leads to another, is something which happens to me a lot! I get distracted and never get to do what I was intending to. Today was slightly different - I was intending to do a card, using an image I tangled, from a new purchase of Peerless Designs "Tangletastic 1" crafting cd:

then I had an idea, which featured this photo frame:

three hours, much colouring in, many butterflies and gems later, it had morphed into this:



I was going for less is more, but once I started I couldn't stop, plus it was a big frame (that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it!) I do love how it turned out and am quite proud of myself as this is something I've never done before.

We don't get many callers on the night, but it still doesn't stop me doing some goody bags, this year I decided to do a digi image and colour in..... which was a good idea, pity I had to do 25. And we've still got half left...
