its been ages since I crafted hence the away time from here, had 'a touch of the vapours' as they used to call it in the old days but you don't really want to know about that, I bore myself rigid with it, let alone any one else. Surfice to say hanging on by my fingertips...... only just.

Anyhoo, a birthday card which is also suitable as an open card.

Coloured the pre-printed Daisy & Dandelion digi stamp with matching promarkers.

Some nice rota-ing at work has given me three days off together. So what do I do on my first day? Not alot! Really hot here, am melting just typing.

Played in CAP and came up with this A5 card -

Used an image from the graphic fairy, and then used a couple of digi materials, a ribbon and finally clustered the flowers together, adding a little gold centre.

I saw this image on the sum of all crafts blog along with 4 others titled The 1930's. I adore this period and art deco in general, so knew I had to do something with them.

Only one done so far, first off used it in CAP to create the card front and insert,  printed it out and decided it looked off balance so added two black peel off's vertically to counterbalance it. Then decided to put peel off's on the existing black lines to match. Lastly, I glittered the middle of the roses with chameleon glitter so the colour would come through.

Not sure how the roses turned out, but Andrew says it looks okay!

My little next door neighbour turned the grand old age of 4 over the weekend. Made this card for her after she showed me her Minnie Mouse brolly.
Image off the web, done in CAP, then I decoupaged two of the balloons and Minnie's bow, added some glitter glue and hearts.
